Susan H. Mesa

Mesa brings 17 years of leadership experience in operations, marketing and business development to AdvancedPractice.com. She specializes in start-up businesses and managing company operations through mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Mesa served as COO of Travelogix, which offers competitively priced airfares and discounted packages through its portfolio of travel brands. During her tenure at Travelogix, she successfully led the merger of 1800Cheapseats.com and OneTravel rebranding the company as Travelogix. She has also held senior management positions at nPorta and MedCAREERS and led the integration of JCNationwide, the merger between Jackson & Coker and Nationwide Medical, which she helped to start in 1995. Mesa holds a Bachelor degree from Rutgers University.
David McAnally, CPC
Vice President, Sales
Mr. McAnally holds a dual role as Vice President for AdvancedPractice.com as well as Vice President of Jackson Pharmacy Professionals, a national pharmacy-only staffing and placement firm. Prior to joining the Jackson Healthcare family of companies, he was Managing Partner at Hire Dynamics Rx. In his seven-year tenure there, the firm grew from a focus on Georgia only to a national company with pharmacy staffing operations in 19 states across the United States.
During his 23-year healthcare staffing and placement career, Mr. McAnally has managed seven staffing firms, four of which were from the start-up phase. His experience includes physician direct-hire placement and locum tenens, allied health PRN and travel staffing as well as all forms of pharmacy staffing and placement nationwide. Mr. McAnally is a past president of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services (GAPS) and earned the Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation during his tenure on the GAPS board. He has also served as the head of the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) Professional Policy Council and has participated as a panelist or moderator at both ASA’s Staffing World and the Healthcare Staffing Summit during the last several years. Mr. McAnally is a frequent speaker at state and national conferences on topics related to healthcare staffing and placement such as team building, hiring and retaining A players and trust in the workplace.
Shane Jackson
Executive Vice-President, Jackson Healthcare & President, LocumTenens.com
In August, 2008, Jackson added the additional title of President of LocumTenens.com. Prior to that date, Jackson served as Executive Vice President of Jackson Healthcare where he was responsible for overseeing all investments, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Until mid-2006, he also served as President of Patient Placement Systems, a healthcare technology company providing an automated solution for the referring and placing of patients that require care after leaving the hospital.
In 2000, Jackson co-founded and acted as the president of NextStart Capital, providing financial advisory and M&A services. At NextStart Capital, he oversaw and directed numerous fund-raising and acquisition transactions. In 2005, he served as financial advisor to the seller in the largest healthcare staffing transaction in history.
Prior to beginning NextStart Capital, Jackson launched successful businesses in the IT, healthcare, music and restaurant industries, and has consulted with businesses throughout the Southeast, developing Internet strategy and business plans, conducting viability studies and raising venture capital.
Jackson earned an M.B.A., with honors, from Emory University where he was one of a distinguished group of students selected for the institution's accelerated three-semester degree program. He holds a B.B.A from Harding University.
Michael Hiffa
Vice-President of Human Resources, Jackson Healthcare
Mike Hiffa brings more than 20 years of human resources experience to his role of Vice President of Human Resources for The Jackson Healthcare family of companies. He has served as a senior member of the executive team for Regency LTAC Hospital Company and two major financial corporations in the Property and Casualty industry, with overall HR responsibilities for 10,000 employees nationwide.
Hiffa is a Strategic Human Resources professional with demonstrated accomplishments in building strong organizational cultures. He was instrumental in developing performance management systems based on core competencies and leadership concepts in addition to creating employee retention programs and succession plans at all levels throughout his career. His areas of expertise include employee relations, change management, coaching, and mentoring.
Hiffa is a graduate of Syracuse University and received his JD from John Marshall School of Law.
Dennis Stockwell
General Counsel, Jackson Healthcare
As General Counsel, Stockwell is responsible for all legal affairs including general corporate compliance, client and non-client contracting, and intellectual property including patents, and trademarks.
Prior to joining Jackson Healthcare, Stockwell served as Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for TurboChef Technologies, Inc, and PracticeWorks, Inc. both publicly traded companies. He previously was a corporate and securities attorney for Kilpatrick & Stockton LLP. Stockwell also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
Stockwell brings a wealth of experience in acquisitions and public and private securities offerings.
Stockwell graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelors of Science degree, received his masters degree from University of Rhode Island, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Tim Aligheri
Chief Technology Officer, Jackson Healthcare
Tim Aligheri's role as CTO of Jackson Healthcare (JH) gives him oversight of the company's new technology developments, project management, product Management and strategic vision for the JH portfolio of business applications. Mr. Aligheri brings over 25 years of experience in software development, architecture, R&D and product management to JH.
Mr. Aligheri is an award-winning Information Technology Leader recognized for combining original conceptual creativity with technology to design successful client server and web based technology. Prior to joining JH, he held executive positions at HealthPort, Per-Se Technologies (now McKesson), Cox Interactive Media (AccessAtlanta.com), MedAssets, and HBOC (now McKesson).
Mr. Aligheri has the special ability to understand a company's vision and orchestrate a powerful development campaign. Mr. Aligheri is a member of the Technology Executive Network Group and recently completed Villanova's Six Sigma Black Belt training. Mr. Aligheri is a graduate of the Georgia Southern University.
