About the clinician's workday
The schedule is two days per month, the 2nd Wednesday and Thursday with a guaranteed 10-hour day. Day 1 includes general cases only, averaging 3-4 cases per day. Day 2 is focused on endoscopy and colonoscopies. There is no call required. Types of cases include general surgery, GI procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy and hernia repair, as well as endoscopy and colonoscopy.
