Job description

An acute care hospital is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment within a collaborative anesthesia care team. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, no required call, and a well-rounded case mix in a supportive clinical environment.

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
No call required (optional if desired)

Practice Environment

Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Anesthesia Model: Care team model
Team Composition: 4 anesthesiologists and 3 CRNAs
Multiple anesthesia sites providing steady case flow

Case Mix

General and colorectal surgery
OB/GYN
Urology
Orthopedics
Ophthalmology (cataracts)
Cardiac procedures (pacemakers, cardioversions, TEE)
GI procedures
No neuro, trauma, or open heart cases
No pediatric cases required

Additional Details

Supervision ratio: Approximately 1:2.5
Opportunity for additional hours if desired
Streamlined credentialing process depending on licensure status

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active state license or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with a diverse but controlled case mix
