Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center is a fast-paced multispecialty ASC performing over 9,000 cases annually in the Chicagoland suburbs.
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Nurse Anesthetist to join our team and work collaboratively with our medical staff and patients.
Responsibilities
• Performing preoperative patient assessment, obtaining patient consent for anesthesia
• Preparing and administering anesthesia for procedures
• Monitoring patients during procedures
• Overseeing patient safety during anesthesia recovery
Requirements and skills
• Proven work experience as a Nurse Anesthetist, minimum of 1 year experience.
• Active Illinois Nurse and CRNA Licensure
• Current ACLS, PALS certification
• Excellent critical thinking, clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Must be efficient and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
