Long Term CRNA Opportunity in Illinois

Job description

Start Date: Late October/Early November
Contract Length: 13 weeks, with strong potential for extension

Join a busy hospital anesthesia team supporting 50 anesthetizing sites daily. This role offers consistent 12-hour shifts with excellent supervision and a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights:

Robust Support System: Work alongside 19–23 supervising anesthesiologists per shift and 10–20 CRNAs scheduled daily; CRNAs are always supervised, never independent.

Shift Commitment & Flexibility: 3 shifts per week (7a–7:30p) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch; minimum 3 weeks per month preferred, ideally 4 weeks. Occasional 4th shifts and overtime opportunities may be available but not guaranteed.

Epic EMR Expertise Required: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience using Epic EMR due to the department’s heavy reliance on the system.

Additional Details:

Patient population: Adults 18+, with pediatric and neuro experience a strong plus

Skills: Proficient in MAC and General anesthesia; no regional, OB, thoracic, or cardiac anesthesia required

Licensure: Must apply for IL state license within one week of offer acceptance to avoid credentialing delays

Credentialing Timeframe: 3.5 to 4 months

Requirements:

Board Certification as a CRNA

Minimum 2 years of anesthesia experience and Epic EMR proficiency
