CRNA Locum Opportunity – Illinois

Location: DeKalb, IL (about 2 hours from Chicago)
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Length: Ongoing, long-term need (anticipated for up to 3 years)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

Long-term opportunity with an anticipated 3-year locum need

Full-time schedule (4x10s, option for 5x10s) Monday–Friday with bread-and-butter cases only (no Neuro, no Cardiac)

CRNA-friendly environment with strong physician support and Epic EMR

Work Details

Coverage: Full-time preferred, open to 75% coverage (3+ weeks/month)

Practice setting: Community hospital, rural setting with easy access to Chicago

Patient population: General anesthesia cases (no cardiac, no neuro)

Support: Collaborative anesthesia team with a focus on maintaining a positive work environment

Housing: Nearby Genoa, IL suggested for accommodations

Requirements

Board Certified CRNA

Illinois license (willing to license if candidate applies immediately upon offer)

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Must have Epic EMR experience

Cannot be a former Northwestern employee
