Anesthesiology

Start Date: June, upon credentialing
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Shift Details: 3 x 12s or 4 10s, 4 weeks/month. No part time submissions will be considered.
*12-hour shifts are from 7a-730p with 30 minute unpaid lunch
*10 Hour Shifts are from 7a-530p with 30 minute unpaid lunch
**An occasional 4th 12 hour shift may be offered and there may be OT opportunities, but they will not guarantee 4 12s or 5 10s or any set amount of OT shifts for any CRNA
Work Details:
· Support Staff: 19 – 23 supervising anesthesiologists per shifts; 10 – 20 CRNAs schedules per day on average (CRNAs always supervised, never independent)
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 4 weeks per month
· Patient population/age: 18+, though peds and neuro would be a huge PLUS.
· Department description: Anesthesia/CRNA – 50 anesthetizing sites per day
· EMR: EPIC. MUST Have at least 2 years using Epic EMR!
· Skills Required: All candidates should be well-versed in MAC and General anesthesia. No need for familiarity with regional anesthesia, OB, Thoracic, or Hearts. Orientation period is brief and typically last one day, but they are revamping this and may go to a 2-3 day orientation soon.

· License required: Yes
· DEA: No
· Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum. Must have at least 2 years with Epic EMR or be very strong in it.
Credentialing Timeframe: 3.5 months
