CRNA Locum Opportunity – DeKalb, IL (Approximately 1 hour from Chicago)

Job description

Location: DeKalb, Illinois

Start Date: October 2026 (Upon Credentialing)

Assignment Length: 26 Weeks with Ongoing Extension Potential

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• 5 x 10-hour schedule available if preferred

• No 8-hour or 12-hour shifts

• Full-time coverage preferred

• Providers available 2–3 weeks per month will be considered if flexible with scheduling

Practice Setting

• Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital

• Community hospital

• 5 Main Operating Rooms

• 2 Endoscopy Suites

• Highly CRNA-friendly practice environment

Case Mix

• Bread-and-butter anesthesia cases

• General Surgery

• Orthopedics

• Endoscopy

Exclusions

• No Cardiac cases

• No Neurosurgery cases

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience

• Epic experience required

• Active Illinois license required

• Facility is not offering licensure assistance

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days

Additional Information

• Candidates cannot be former Northwestern employees.

• Ongoing assignment with strong extension potential.

• Interview may not be required, as the facility frequently extends offers based on CV review.
