CRNA Locum Opportunity – Level I Trauma Center (Kentucky)

CRNA Opportunity – KY
Start Date: April 20, 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Coverage Type: Locums
Schedule: Full-time (must be available 4 weeks/month)
Shift Options: 8s, 10s, or 12s (preference for 4x10s)
Typical Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Practice Setting:
· Hospital-based
· Level I Trauma Center
· CRNAs are medically directed by Anesthesiologists

Work Details:
· Coverage: Full-time (4x10/week for 6 months preferred)
· Patients per day: Varies (1–9/day)
· Patient population: All ages (no neonatal)
· Case mix: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (no hearts, no OB)
· NORA coverage required
· EMR: Epic (preferred)

Skills Required:
· Intubation
· Central line placement
· Arterial lines
· Line placement
· Blocks not typically required

Support Staff & Supervision:
· CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, Anesthesiologists
· Typical direction ratios: 2:1 or 3:1 (up to 4:1 for low acuity cases)
· Attending anesthesiologist often paired with a resident in another room

Requirements:
· NBCRNA certification required
· Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience (no new grads)
· Active KY license required (willing to license)

Credentialing:
· Estimated timeframe: 90 days
