Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time assignment in Central Kentucky at a Level I Trauma Center, working under a medical direction model across OR and NORA settings.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: April 2026
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours
• Schedule: Full time — must work every week, 4 weeks per month
• Shift Options: 8s, 10s, or 12s considered
• Preferred Schedule: 4x10s

Work Details
• Setting: OR and NORA (all providers required to cover NORA)
• Case Mix: Ortho, trauma, vascular, neuro (no heart, no OB, no neonatal)
• Patient Volume: 1–9 cases per day depending on assignment
• Patient Population: All ages except neonatal
• Support Staff: CRNAs, anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents
• Supervision Model: Medical direction — typically 2:1 or 3:1; may go up to 4:1 for low acuity
• Skills Required: Intubation, central line placement, arterial lines, line placement; blocks generally not required
• EMR: Epic preferred

Requirements
• Board Certification: NBCRNA required
• State License: Kentucky license required (open to licensing)
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year — no new grads
