📢 Now Hiring: CRNA – Locum Tenens Opportunity in Lexington, Kentucky!

📍 Position Details:
• Start Date: June/July 2026 (pending credentialing)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (potential extension)
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia department
• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center
• Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage
• Schedule/Shift Details:
– Full-time coverage required; must be available 4 weeks/month
– 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (½-hour lunch)
– 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts available (preference for 4x10s)
• Patients Per Day: Approximately 1–9 cases
• Patient Population: All ages (no neonates)
• EMR: Epic

📋 Department & Work Details:
• Care Team Model: Medically directed by anesthesiologists
• Typical Ratios: Generally 2:1 or 3:1 CRNA supervision; can be up to 4:1 for lower-acuity cases
• Support Staff: CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, Anesthesiologists, and Residents
• Teaching Environment: Attendings frequently supervise residents and focus on teaching
• Department Coverage: General B&B, Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro
• Additional Coverage: All providers required to work NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)
• Exclusions: No cardiac, OB, or neonatal cases

🩺 Procedural Skills:
• Must be comfortable with intubations and line placements
• Blocks not typically required

📋 Requirements:
• Board Certification: NBCRNA required
• State License: Active Kentucky CRNA license (open to licensing – assistance available)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience (no new grads)
• Setting Experience: Recent experience in a large medical center required
• Trauma Experience: Level I trauma experience required

⏱ Credentialing Timeframe:
• Approximately 90–120 days

💰 Compensation:
• $250/hour + Travel & Lodging Covered
