About the clinician's workday

The clinician will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services for outpatient ophthalmic procedures including cataract surgery, MIGS/glaucoma procedures, and oculoplastics cases during day shifts. Responsibilities include providing MAC anesthesia using Versed/fentanyl with occasional propofol sedation while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. The clinician will work collaboratively with a highly efficient OR team in a low-stress environment where cases typically complete by early afternoon. The position requires pre-operative patient assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-operative monitoring while adhering to facility protocols for outpatient anesthesia care delivery.
