This hospital operates 2 surgery suites and 1 endoscopy suite, supporting a range of general surgical and endoscopic procedures within a structured inpatient environment. The facility maintains established perioperative workflows and is staffed by a general surgeon, an ER physician, and a nursing team of 5 RNs. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought to address a gap in staffing within the Anesthesia Department.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an inpatient general surgery and endoscopy setting. Shift coverage is scheduled for October 12 from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM and October 13 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional dates to follow. The surgical case mix includes general surgery procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, excision of lesions, hernia repairs, and port placements, as well as EGD, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment, and board certification along with an active state license and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
