This facility operates under a medical direction anesthesia model and supports a broad range of surgical specialties within an on-site operating room environment. The facility serves a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult cases, across high-acuity service lines such as Peds Trauma I and NICU/PICU. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought on an ASAP and ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.
Kentucky offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including natural landmarks such as Mammoth Cave National Park, Red River Gorge, and Cumberland Falls State Park. The state is recognized for its bourbon heritage, equestrian culture, and local culinary experiences, with live music and arts venues found across both urban centers and smaller communities. Clinicians on assignment may also explore historical sites, walking tours, outdoor recreation areas, and distinctive local museums throughout the region.
Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a medical direction model during day shifts within an operating room setting, with shifts structured at 8 or 10 hours; the facility guarantees no more than 8-hour shifts. The surgical case mix includes Peds Trauma I, NICU/PICU, General, Ortho, Neuro, Transplant, ENT, GI, MRI, Sedation, and IR cases, serving patients across all age groups. Clinicians in this role will supervise SRNAs under a 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratio. Call coverage is required as part of this locum tenens assignment, and PALS and ACLS certifications are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
