CRNA Opportunity –Maine

Position Highlights

Start Date: ASAP (credentialing approx. 120 days)

Contract Length: 6 months preferred (3-month minimum, with option to extend)

Schedule: 36–40 hours/week

Shift Options: 10- or 12-hour shifts (most common: 7a–5:30p or 7a–7:30p)

Additional shift options: 9a–7:30p, 9a–9:30p, 11a–11:30p

Practice Details

Setting: Hospital-based

Model: Medical direction / collaborative practice with anesthesiologists

Case Volume: ~100 surgical cases per day

Trauma Level: Level 1

OR Count: 50 operating rooms

EMR: Epic

Case Types

Adult general surgery, neuro, spinals, ventilation management, and local infiltration

Excluded: Open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines, OB, thoracic, and pediatrics (dedicated specialty teams handle these)

Requirements

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (PALS optional)

Experience: Minimum 1 year as a CRNA in a Level 1 trauma center (no new grads)

License: Active ME license preferred (will consider candidates needing to obtain)

Compensation & Logistics

Pay Rate: $200/hr + travel & lodging
