The clinical environment is collaborative, with a close-knit medical team dedicated to delivering quality patient care across its surgical service lines.
Maine offers a range of events and activities throughout the year suited to diverse interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore culinary festivals, agricultural fairs, and cultural exhibits, as well as outdoor pursuits such as hiking at state parks, tubing, and dog sledding. The state's event calendar spans multiple seasons and regions, providing varied options for both indoor cultural programming and outdoor recreation.
Clinicians in this role will provide autonomous anesthesia services during day shifts within an operating room setting, with call coverage required. The surgical case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, GYN, urology, and other bread-and-butter community hospital procedures. Clinicians will independently manage cases from pre-operative assessment through recovery, collaborating with surgeons and the anesthesia team as needed.
