Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
• Provide locum coverage for employee leaves and vacations in hospital-based anesthesiology team
• Work flexible day shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours with no on-call or weekend requirements
• Manage anesthesia care for adult patients and limited pediatric population
• Handle general surgery, deep sedation/MAC, and neurosurgical cases
• Provide ventilation management and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff including RNs and surgical technologists
• Conduct preoperative assessments and patient education
• Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Must have active Michigan RN License and NBCRNA Board Certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA)
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• New graduate candidates not accepted
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
