About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services in collaboration with an MD anesthesiologist during day shifts at an inpatient and outpatient facility in Michigan, with room time beginning at 0715 and anesthesia personnel arriving between 0630 and 0645 Monday through Friday. The surgical case mix consists primarily of outpatient procedures (approximately 85%), including surgical and endoscopic cases, as well as OB cases involving labor epidurals and cesarean sections with spinal anesthesia; additional case types include orthopedic, endoscopy, general surgery, urology, and ENT procedures. The ability to work independently during regular hours and during call coverage is required; nerve block experience is helpful but not mandatory. Call coverage is required, with weekday call on 1-2 days per week and weekend call on one weekend per month.
