Opportunity:
Board Certified - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
- Provide independent anesthesia coverage at a dedicated Endoscopy Center during a period of short staffing
- Work a stable weekday schedule from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with no call responsibilities
- Manage 10-16 anesthesia cases per day in a solo CRNA practice setting
- Administer MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care) for endoscopy procedures
- Perform EGD with biopsies as necessary
- Perform colonoscopy with biopsies as necessary
- Manage combined EGD/colonoscopy procedures
- Work with adult and geriatric patient age demographics
- Document using EPIC EMR system
- No trauma designation and no pain management cases
- Must hold active Michigan state medical license or be willing to obtain one
- Board Certification through AANA required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Clean malpractice and license history required
- Copy of NPDB self-query required at presentation (pulled within 30 days)
- Local providers only with mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-120 days
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
