# Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens

## 🩺 JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a qualified **Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)** for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services in a supervised practice environment, supporting a busy surgical department with approximately 35 cases per day across 16 operating rooms.

This position offers a flexible schedule of two to three shifts per week, with 10-hour and 12-hour shifts available. There are no call requirements, and qualified new graduates are welcome to apply.

## ⏰ SCHEDULE & CALL

- Two to three shifts per week.
- Available shift lengths: 10 hours and 12 hours.
- No call responsibilities.
- Specific availability must be provided during candidate submission.

## 💵 COMPENSATION & TRAVEL

- **Hourly Rate:** Up to $265/hour, inclusive of malpractice coverage.
- **Orientation:** Paid at one-half of the applicable hourly rate.
- **Overtime:** Applicable rate to be confirmed during contracting.
- **Holiday Pay:** Applicable hourly holiday rate to be confirmed during contracting.

### Travel Reimbursement

Limited reimbursement may be available for eligible local travel arrangements:

- **Rental Car:** Up to $50 per day for economy or standard vehicles.
- **Lodging:** Reimbursement is limited to the applicable General Services Administration (GSA) nightly rate.
- Lodging booked through third-party travel websites is not eligible for reimbursement.
- Lodging taxes are not reimbursed.
- Medical staff fees are not reimbursed.
- All expenses are subject to the applicable travel and expense policy.

**Important:** This opportunity is limited to local, drive-in providers. Travel reimbursement is restricted and should not be considered full travel coverage.

## ✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- **Active Michigan license – Required; no exceptions.**
- **NBCRNA certification – Required.**
- **Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required.**
- **Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required.**
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Clean background and no malpractice history are required for expedited credentialing.
- Must be available to work two to three shifts per week.
- Must be a local, drive-in candidate.
