Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA for a rural hospital assignment in southeast Minnesota. This is a CRNA-only model with a broad case mix, call responsibilities, and the opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract.
Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP–February (late January start possible if credentialing allows)
• Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift Options: Primarily 8-hour shifts with one block of 10-hour shifts (open to 10s)
• Call: Weekday call required; weekend/holiday call typically 1 in 6
Work Details
• Patients per Day: Busy OR; typically 3–5 cases per CRNA depending on case load
• Patient Population: Adults and elderly with light pediatrics (dental, laparoscopic cases)
• EMR: Cerner / Oracle
• Case Mix: Orthopedics (total joints, neuro spine, sports), general surgery, plastics (cosmetic and reconstruction), podiatry, OB, eye surgery (cataracts)
• Practice Model: CRNA-based model with no MD oversight
Requirements
• Board Certification: NBCRNA
• State License: Active Minnesota license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation
• Skills Required: Nerve blocks, OB, general anesthesia, spinals
• Minimum Experience: 2 years
