About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services for diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic procedures, ENT cases, general surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, podiatry, and GI endoscopy during structured day shifts Monday through Friday. The clinician will work under anesthesiologist supervision in a collaborative operating room environment, providing pre-operative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-operative care coordination using Epic EMR systems. The position excludes pediatric cases and obstetric procedures unless providing coverage for cesarean sections with anesthesiologist-placed regional anesthesia, while anesthesiologists handle all regional blocks and complex procedures. Board certification is mandatory for this role that offers consistent scheduling without call obligations, focusing on quality patient care delivery in a busy hospital setting with dedicated support from anesthesia techs, PAs, nursing staff, and OR technicians.
