A leading academic medical center in Ohio is seeking experienced CRNAs for a flexible locum tenens opportunity. This is a great fit for providers looking for a high-acuity environment, variety of cases, and control over their schedule—all without call or weekend requirements.
Position Highlights
Acute Care Hospital setting (Level I Trauma environment)
Flexible scheduling with day, swing, and night shifts available
No call and no weekends required
Options for full-time or part-time coverage
Minimum commitment of 2 days per week preferred
Open to local providers and flexible arrangements
Schedule Overview
12, 13, 14, and 16-hour shift options available
Typical start time around 6:30 AM (flexible)
Alternative schedules (5x8s or 4x10s) available for night or mid shifts
Practice Environment
Medically directed care team model (1:2 or 1:3 supervision)
Exposure to a wide variety of surgical and procedural cases, including:
Neuro (spine & cranial)
General surgery
ENT, urology, and GI
Trauma and burn
Vascular
Kidney/pancreas transplant
Orthopedic and oncology cases
IR, endoscopy, imaging, and more
Not required: OB, open heart, pediatrics, or neonates
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive pre-op assessments and develop anesthesia plans
Administer and manage anesthesia care throughout procedures
Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
Airway management, emergency response, and medication administration
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety
Requirements
Active CRNA certification
Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA experience (no new grads)
Comfortable working in a medically directed model
Experience across multiple service lines preferred (neuro, ENT, GI, trauma, etc.)
Willingness to obtain Ohio license if needed
