CRNA - Weekend Night Coverage

Job description

A high-acuity acute care hospital is seeking CRNAs for a weekend night locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers a consistent three-night schedule, exposure to a broad and complex case mix, and the chance to work within a highly collaborative anesthesia care team.

Assignment Details

Start Date: July 2026
Schedule: Friday–Sunday nights
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Coverage: 3 shifts per week (full-time)
No call required

Practice Environment

Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Level I Trauma Center with diverse, high-acuity patient population
Care Team Model: Medically directed (approximately 1:3 ratio)
Large, collaborative team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and specialists
EMR: Epic

Case Mix

Trauma
Neuro and spine
Cardiac and thoracic
Vascular
OB/GYN
General surgery
GI
Pediatrics
Orthopedics
Robotics and non-operating room anesthesia (NORA)

Clinical Scope

General anesthesia (GETA)
MAC and regional techniques
Spinals and ultrasound-guided procedures
Epidurals performed independently
Note: CRNAs do not perform nerve blocks

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active state license required
ACLS and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
