A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) starting July 5, 2026, providing night shift coverage in a high-acuity hospital setting. This role offers consistent weekend scheduling (Friday–Sunday, 7p–7a) with full-time coverage needs and exposure to a wide variety of surgical cases, including complex and trauma-level patients.

About the facility:
This is a 593-bed acute care hospital with a Level I Trauma designation, offering a diverse and high-volume surgical environment. CRNAs work within a medically directed model (1:3, max 1:4) alongside anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary surgical teams.

Note:
‣ CRNAs do not perform blocks
‣ CRNAs perform epidurals independently (no physician present)

Compensation:
‣ Pay Rate: $250/Hr. - Details can be discussed further after applying to the job posting.
No overtime offered for this position

Job Responsibilities:
‣ Administer anesthesia across a wide range of surgical and procedural cases
‣ Provide care in both OR and non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) settings
‣ Collaborate with anesthesiologists under a medically directed model
‣ Manage anesthesia for diverse patient populations, including high-acuity and trauma cases
Perform:
General anesthesia (GETA)
Monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
Regional and spinal anesthesia
Epidurals (independently)
Utilize ultrasound-guided techniques as appropriate

Qualifications:
‣ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – required
‣ Active Pennsylvania license – required (no licensing support available)
‣ ACLS and PALS certifications – required
‣ Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
‣ Clean file preferred for expedited credentialing

Working Hours:
‣ Shift: Night shift
‣ Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
‣ Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
‣ Weekly Commitment: 3 shifts per week
‣ Coverage Type: Scheduled, no call
‣ Start Date: July 5, 2026
