Facility:
This is a large, academic medical center and Level 1 trauma facility offering a wide range of surgical specialties and comprehensive anesthesia services. The facility provides strong provider support with other anesthesia professionals on-site and operates under a medical direction model with a 2:1 or 3:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio.

Job Details:

  • Provide anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT
  • Assess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative and procedural period
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans
  • Perform history and physical examinations
  • Obtain informed consent from patients prior to procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessments
  • Administer General Anesthesia and Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)
  • Perform Spinal and IV Regional Block anesthesia techniques
  • Manage invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC and intra-arterial lines
  • Perform airway management
  • Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience required, with experience established prior to credentialing completion
  • Active Pennsylvania license required; IMLC accepted
  • Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • References must be provided upfront at time of submission
  • Shift options include 10-hour shifts (8:30am-7:00pm) or 12-hour shifts (6:30am-7:00pm, with 7:00am start on Thursdays)
  • No call requirement
  • All overtime must be approved by department administration
  • No guaranteed hours
  • Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
  • Nearest airport: Harrisburg International

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
