Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a CRNA for a locum assignment at a medical center and affiliated surgery centers in Central South Carolina.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: Flexible
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
• Schedule: 40-hour work week (must work every week; no part-time availability)
• Shift Options: 5x8s, 3x12s, or 4x10s
• Local Policy: 50-mile radius rule – no local candidates

Work Details
• Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
• Patient Population: Adults (18–geriatric); very limited pediatrics (travelers not included in peds cases)
• Department Description: Large anesthesia department with 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists operating under a medical direction care team model; case mix includes general, GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular
• Rotation: Required to rotate to ambulatory surgery centers
• EMR: Epic (highly preferred)
• Skills Required: No regional or block skills required

Requirements
• Board Certification: CRNA required
• License: Active state license required; compact license accepted
• Certifications Preferred: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years required

Credentialing Timeframe
• 60–90 days
