A busy hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.

Paris, Texas is located on the western edge of the Piney Woods! While on assignment, visit many of the tourist attractions including the Eiffel Tour where you can experience local history and explore the plaza!

About the clinician's workday

The ongoing position offers an 8-hour shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, with one CRNA on call each night and a required response time of 30 minutes. There is a 1:7 second call rotation for CRNAs, with two CRNAs on pager call each night, and the ability to insert labor epidurals is required. Late room coverage includes one room until 7 PM and two rooms until 5 PM. The facility has four ORs in the Main, Cath, GI, and OB areas, handling cases in general surgery, OB, endoscopy, GI, neurology, podiatry, urology, and ENT, but excluding cardiac, pain management, plastics, thoracic, or vascular cases. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS, with compliance training mandatory within 30 days of the start date, along with annual compliance each fall. The EMR charting is done through the AIMS system, and case logs are required. Additionally, a flu shot and TB test are mandatory for this position.
