About the clinician's workday

This assignment requires full availability for four weeks each month, with optional 8hour weekend day shifts, and candidates must be able to start as soon as they are credentialed with a clean file. Cases include general surgery, neuro, ortho, OB, and pediatrics, and the sites are not able to consider candidates who need to obtain a new state license. Shifts are 8 hours with regular weekday coverage required, no inhouse or weeknight call, and preferred weekend pager call; overtime is not expected but may be available. The facilities use iPro for charting and have 17 anesthesia rooms, with MDs supervising CRNAs at a 4:1 ratio while also performing their own cases. The environment is collegial, with a wide variety of cases across two locations, including robotic, ortho, neuro, general, GYN, and cath lab, within a Level II trauma setting. Lodging is provided at $125 per day, and car rental or mileage reimbursement is available at $275 per week.
