Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts per week OR (3) 12-hour shifts; weekend availability preferred (Sat/Sun)
Coverage Type: Medical Direction
Time Off: All PTO requests must be submitted upfront

Assignment Details

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient GI

Patient Population: Age 13 – end of life

Facility: 600-bed Level I Trauma Center

Department: 60 CRNAs, ~70 attendings, 60 residents

Coverage: 33 main ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia sites, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, 3–4 GI center rooms

EMR: Epic

Skills: GI anesthesia, strong academic/trauma experience preferred

Excluded Cases: No open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, or peripheral nerve blocks

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

Active Virginia License

DEA: Not required

COVID & Flu Vaccines (no exemptions)

Minimum 2 years experience (preferably Level I or II trauma, ASA 3+ patients)

Academic or high-acuity inpatient background strongly preferred

Credentialing: Minimum 30 days
