Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide long-term coverage across a multi-hospital system in Virginia. This role offers schedule flexibility, exposure to high-acuity cases, and the chance to work within a large, well-supported care team model. CRNA can license with compact RN license!

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (January 5th preferred; open to later)
• Contract Length: 1 year, through end of 2026
• Location: Provider will float between three hospital sites
• Schedule: 8s, 10s, or 12s
• Minimum Commitment: 1 shift/week
• Open To: Local candidates; providers seeking 1–2 weeks per month
• Call Requirements: Must be open to call (max 1–2 shifts/month; likely minimal).
All call is beeper-based; additional specifics pending.

• Experience Required: Level 1 Trauma Experience (must have)
• Environment: Fast-paced, high-acuity departments
• Support Staff:
o Covering 3 sites (1 Level 1 Trauma Center + 2 Community Hospitals)
o Team includes 30+ Anesthesiologists and 70+ full-time CRNAs
• Care Model: 100% supervised, 1:4 ratio
• Hospital Size: 700 beds (primary site)
• Case Mix:
o Vascular, Neuro, High-Risk OB/GYN, Ortho, Thoracic, General
o Few Peds (locums not required to do Peds or Hearts)
• Special Procedures:
o Performed: Epidurals, spinals, arterial lines
o Sometimes: Obstetrics, trauma (mostly outpatient surgery)
o Not Performed: Brachial plexus or other regional anesthesia blocks
• Patient Volume: Varies by location
• EMR: Cerner
• DEA: Not required
• Credentialing: 90–120 days (Emergency credentialing available in 30–45 days)
