The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during day shifts with multiple scheduling options including 8-, 10-, 12-, and 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The clinician will manage a broad case mix including general, neuro, ortho, OB, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, and endoscopy procedures within a medically directed care team model with MD supervision at a 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio. In-house call is preferred with holiday shifts and holiday call coverage preferred, though overtime is not expected but may be available based on volume. Core responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, consent verification, patient education on anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed. Board certification, active RN license, graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and current NBCRNA certification are required, with candidates needing to obtain a Virginia license considered.
