Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support a dynamic, multi-site anesthesia service in Virginia. This long-term opportunity offers clinical variety, exposure to complex cases, and flexible scheduling within a large, well-supported care team environment.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: ASAP (January 5 preferred; later starts considered)
• Contract Length: Long-term assignment through the end of 2026
• Schedule Options: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
• Flexibility: Open to local candidates and those available 1–2 weeks per month
• Call: Beeper call only, maximum 1–2 shifts per month (often none required)
• Locations: Floating between multiple hospital sites

Work Details
• Specialty: CRNA
• Clinical Environment: Level I Trauma center and two community hospitals
• Experience Required: Prior Level I trauma exposure; fast-paced settings
• Cases Include: Major vascular, neuro, high-risk OB/GYN, orthopedics, general surgery, thoracic, and limited trauma
• Exclusions: No pediatric or cardiac cases required for locums
• Procedures: Independent administration of anesthesia medications; epidurals, spinals, and arterial lines
• Regional Blocks: No brachial plexus or advanced regional blocks required
• Care Model: Fully supervised, 1:4 care team structure
• Daily Volume: Varies by site
• Hospital Size: Approximately 700 beds
• Team Size: 30+ anesthesiologists and 70+ full-time CRNAs
• EMR: Cerner

• Inpatient and outpatient surgical services across multiple hospital sites

Requirements
• License: Virginia or compact license preferred; open to assisting with licensure
• Experience: Some Level I trauma experience required
• Credentialing: 90–120 days (emergency privileges possible in 30–45 days)
• DEA: Not required
