We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Winchester, Virginia, located just over an hour from Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for schedule flexibility, a supportive care team environment, and ongoing coverage at a well-established hospital-based practice.
Position Highlights
Location: Winchester, VA
Start Date: ASAP (targeting 7/13–7/20)
Contract Length: 26 weeks with ongoing extension potential

Schedule Options
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
4x10s (Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Occasional late shift: 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
Open to:
5x10s
3x12s
4x12s
12-hour shifts available:
7:00 AM–7:00 PM
11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Providers available 2–3 weeks per month will also be considered.
Practice Details
Hospital-based anesthesia practice
1:4 care team model with anesthesiologist support
Adult patient population
Weekly full-time coverage needs
Case Mix
Electrophysiology (EP)
Endoscopy
Orthopedics
Limited OB exposure (with potential for growth)
No cardiac/hearts
Case volume varies and may include:
2 longer procedures per day, or
Up to 15 endoscopy cases daily
Required Skills
General Anesthesia
Spinal anesthesia preferred
Epidural proficiency preferred
Additional Information
May occasionally provide coverage at affiliated surgery centers based on staffing needs
