New Locums Opportunity in Virginia - CRNA

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA in Virginia - floating between two locations!

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Schedule:
-8-hour and 10-hour weekday shifts
-Must be available for at least 10 shifts per month (more availability preferred)
-Must be open to call (maximum 1–2 call shifts per month, most likely no call)
-Call is beeper call

Required September Coverage:
-Monday, 9/14 – 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
-Tuesday, 9/15 – 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
-Wednesday, 9/16 – 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
-Monday, 9/28 – 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
-Monday, 9/28 – 11:00 PM–7:00 AM (beeper call)
-Tuesday, 9/29 – 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
-Wednesday, 9/30 – 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Practice Setting:
-Hospital
-100% supervised care team model (1:4)
-Covering three facilities, including one Level I Trauma Center and two community hospitals
-Team includes 30+ anesthesiologists and 70+ full-time CRNAs

Cases: Large vascular, Neuro, High-risk OB/GYN, Orthopedics, , General, Thoracic, Some trauma, Limited pediatrics (locums not required to do peds or cardiac)

Procedures: Administer anesthesia medications, Epidurals, Spinals, Arterial lines
-No brachial plexus or other regional nerve blocks required

Requirements:
-Level I Trauma experience required
-Virginia license required
-Must be open to floating between Leigh and Norfolk
-EMR: Cerner

Credentialing:
-Standard: 90–120 days
-Emergency credentialing may be available in 30–45 days
