Locum CRNA – Anesthesia

Seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum assignment providing anesthesia services across multiple clinical settings. The role offers a diverse case mix, primarily daytime coverage, with occasional nights, weekends, and call.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Provide anesthesia care for OB, thoracic, vascular, EP, ortho, GI, ENT, dental, and pediatric cases; transplant cases are excluded.
Independently perform and manage epidurals and spinals; regional blocks are not required.
Work within a 4:1 supervision model and float between assigned surgical locations as needed.
36–40 hours/week, with flexibility for 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.
Primarily day shifts, with occasional night coverage.
One call shift per 8-week schedule and availability for one weekend shift per month when needed.

Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience required.
Level II Trauma, OB, and thoracic experience are required.
Pediatric experience preferred.
AHA certifications and an active or pending Virginia license are required.
6- or 12-month contracts preferred, with schedules planned approximately 8 weeks in advance.
Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90–120 days.
