Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens opportunity in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a full-time position at a Level I Trauma Center offering 8 or 10-hour shifts, guaranteed weekly hours, travel coverage, and the opportunity for a long-term assignment.

SCHEDULE

- Start Date: January 18, 2027
- Full-time coverage required
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- 8 or 10-hour shifts available
- Fridays required
- Continuous weekly coverage required
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedules cannot be accommodated
- No 24-hour shifts
- No call

PRACTICE SETTING

- Acute care hospital
- Level I Trauma Center
- High-acuity and medically complex patient population
- Loosely medically directed anesthesia model
- Locum CRNAs receive the same permissions and access as permanent providers
- EPIC EMR

CASE MIX

- Neuro
- Orthopedics
- Trauma
- General surgery
- GYN
- Endoscopy
- Pediatrics
- No cardiac cases
- No OB cases

REQUIREMENTS

- Board Certified CRNA
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Virginia license or compact accepted
- Licensing candidates may be considered
- Facility-specific skills checklist required for submission

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- Initial 3-month assignment with option to extend
- Longer-term 6–12+ month commitments are preferred
- Flexible with requested time off
- Approximately 75–100 day credentialing timeframe
- Travel covered, including airfare, lodging, and rental car
- Travel stipend option may also be available
- Facility has a new wing requiring additional locum coverage
