Shifts are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a preference for 10-hour days. No call is required, though weekend call is available if needed. Case types include bread-and-butter anesthesia with no hearts or heads, cath lab stents, some ENT and general surgery, and heavy ortho with frequent blocks. The site averages 650-700 deliveries per year and is OB-heavy, with CRNAs performing epidurals. The number of cases per day varies. Since call isnt required, post-call days off dont apply. The staffing model is light supervision, and providers must be able to work autonomously and place epidurals.
