Job description

The Director of the Department of Nurse Anesthesia at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, is responsible for leading and managing the Nurse Anesthesia program within the Doctor of Nursing Practice framework. Key tasks include overseeing program development, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, managing the curriculum, and coordinating clinical placements. The director must also support faculty and staff management by making teaching assignments, conducting evaluations, and participating in recruitment.

Additionally, the director will handle student affairs by coordinating registration, addressing concerns, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
