We are currently seeking experienced and adaptable Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a high-volume Emergency Department. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites and support a range of patient needs, from fast-track to moderate acuity care.
Schedule Details:
ED Main: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
ED East: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 10:00 PM
Express Care: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
No on-call responsibilities
Estimated Patient Volume per Provider:
ED Main: 15–20 patients
ED East: 10–12 patients
Express Care: 15–20 patients
Facility Details:
EMR System: Meditech
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage patients presenting with a wide variety of acute medical needs
Triage and treat patients in Express, ED East, or ED Main depending on shift assignment
Collaborate with physicians, who will manage high-acuity cases (e.g., gunshot wounds, major trauma)
Perform common ED procedures and manage urgent/emergent conditions independently
Accurately document patient encounters in Meditech EMR
Requirements:
Active NP or PA license
Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or relevant specialty
Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine or urgent care experience strongly preferred
