Job Details:
- Locum Tenens coverage needed for specific dates: 8/21-8/25, 9/7-9/9, and 9/21-9/24, with ongoing potential
- Shift coverage hours: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Onsite orientation required one day prior to the first scheduled shift
- Average of 36 patient encounters per day in the emergency department
- Average of 3 admissions per shift
- Ability to treat patients of all ages is required
- Provides both inpatient and outpatient emergency services
- Support staff includes ED Physicians and ED RNs
- Charting via Meditech EMR system
- Board certification or board eligibility required; fellowship not required
- BLS certification required
- Trauma Level 3 facility
- Active Michigan license required — no IMLC accepted
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days, dependent on provider document submission speed
- Temporary privileges granted in needed situations
- Travel and lodging assistance available if needed; hospital can arrange accommodations
- Nearest airport is CMX, approximately 4 miles from the hospital
- Only one provider will be accepted for this need
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
