About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive emergency medicine coverage during 12-hour day shifts at a Level 4 trauma center. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating an average of 45 patients daily, performing emergency medicine procedures, and collaborating with the MD who provides continuous 24-hour coverage. The clinician will work three days per week from 10 AM to 10 PM, managing diverse emergency presentations and maintaining accurate documentation. Board certification in Emergency Medicine is mandatory along with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
