📋 Job Description:
A Level 3 Trauma Center in Washington is seeking Emergency Medicine APPs for locum tenens coverage. Both day and night shifts are available in this high-volume, fast-paced ED.

Assignment Details:
Rate: $170/hr for day shifts, $180/hr for night shifts

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (varies by site need)

EMR: Paragon (CPOE enabled)

Hospital Type: Acute Care

Trauma Center Level: III

Annual ED Volume: 24,440 visits

Admission Rate: 10.8%

Fast Track: Yes – 6 beds

ICU: 14 beds, open unit

CT in-house; MRI & U/S on-call nights

Bedside Ultrasound: Expected for all providers



Radiology: Read own x-rays

No pediatric admissions

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM not required; FM with EM experience acceptable)

WA License: Required

Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days

Temps being requested

Privileges issued 2nd Friday of each month

Payer credentialing packet must be completed before first shift

• Flexible Credentialing: Temps being pushed; start possible before full board privileges
• Supportive Infrastructure: Fast Track available, ICU on-site, and access to regional trauma/stroke centers
• Diverse Clinical Exposure: High-acuity setting with 24K+ annual ED visits and broad procedural autonomy
