About the clinician's workday

The physician assistant will provide comprehensive emergency medicine coverage during day and night shifts managing high-volume patient presentations in a newly renovated 15-bed emergency department. The clinician will handle an average of 80 patients per day with 11 admissions daily while working alongside an established team. Responsibilities include utilizing EPIC EMR system for documentation, managing fast track minor emergency coverage for 12 hours daily, and maintaining current certifications in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS through AHA. The position requires ED inpatient experience within the last 12 months and involves working six to twelve 12-hour shifts per month with no call requirements.
