A Emergency Department in PA is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage starting ASAP . Active PA license is required. Please see a few details below:
· 3+ month contract with option to extend
· 5-6 shifts per month
· nights only 7p-7a
· Average of 1-2 patients/hour per provider per shift
· expected to see any patient complaint but are not expected to perform invasive procedures such as central lines, intubation, lumbar puncture. The attending will see the critically ill patients and evaluate STEMI/Stroke patients while the PA is expected to see the minor complaint patients and perform minor procedures including lacerations/I&D etc.
· Rate Negotiable depending on experience and availability. Let's chat!
