Clinicians on assignment may explore destinations such as the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, which features the historic Glen Burnie House, formal gardens, and over three miles of walking trails across its 90-acre property, as well as Civil War battlefields including Kernstown Battlefield and Third Winchester Battlefield. Old Town's Loudoun Street Pedestrian Mall, outdoor recreation areas, and live entertainment venues such as Bright Box Theater and Winchester Little Theatre provide additional options for leisure during time away from clinical duties.
The Emergency Medicine Physician Associate will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site Level III trauma center emergency department in Winchester, Virginia. Available shift times are 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this assignment, and board certification is negotiable.
