We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or PA to join our team in our urgent care facility. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate healthcare professional dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting. As a Practitioner, you will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare providers to diagnose and treat a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and lab work
Prescribe medications and treatments
Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
Requirements:
Current NP or PA license in Maine
DOT certification
BLS certification
Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred
