The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services in a correctional facility setting, managing 18-20 adult patients daily during Monday through Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with potential for four 10-hour shifts and no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical documentation in the Naphcare EMR system. The position requires Virginia licensure and DEA registration for autonomous practice, working collaboratively with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the correctional healthcare delivery framework.
