Family Practice
I have a client in Vashon, WA who's seeking an experienced FNP for locum coverage starting in March/April/May. Here are the job details:
13 week assignment with the option to extend
Start Date: As soon as credentialed. Provider presented should be available to start within 4 weeks.
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day. Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 16 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care (preferred)
· Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Certifications Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
· Minimum Experience Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have minimum of 2 years experience as an FNP and face to face patient contact within past year.
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
Spanish or Russian speakers are a plus.
Must be covid and flu vaccinated
