The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine care to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing diverse primary care cases including injuries, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and urgent care needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, providing preventive healthcare services, performing minor procedures, and treating complicated chronic care patients during flexible scheduling with four 10-hour shifts or traditional five-day coverage. The clinician will work with no call requirements, maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare environment.
